Feeling a bit better

We just needed to busy ourselves. After calling and talking to Brad for a bit, Kate and I did some laundry, changed her sheet, did a little baby-proofing, and went for a short nature walk in the neighborhood. I took her out hoping to find some kids on the playground for her to watch, but no one was on any of the three playgrounds closest to our house (VERY close to our house....we didn't have to go far). So we walked around to look at all the pretty flowers people have planted in their yards. Kate touched some. She also took a look at several types of trees and touched their leaves and bark. She seemed to enjoy it. Her favorite appeared to be touching some white pansies. I think we'll take these walks often. She had a great time!

And she amused me after one of her naps. I had the tv on and as we walked into the room, the people on tv were laughing at something. She started laughing, too!! :-)
